West Virginia University senior forward Da'Sean Butler, who averages 17.2 points and 6.1 rebounds for the Mountaineers, today was included among 30 men's players on the midseason list of candidates for the Naismith Trophy as college basketball's top player.
He is among seven players from Big East Conference teams and the only one from the district to survive the midseason cut from a preseason list of 60 candidates.
The 6-foot-7, 230-pound Butler entered the season 17th on WVU's all-time scoring list with more than replica breitling watches 1,400 points.
The annual Naismith Trophy award will be presented at the NCAA Final Four in Indianapolis in April.
