THE last memory Phil Munro has of his family's beloved pup Patch is seeing two men stealing him from his own yard.
The Yeppoon man said he went outside to feed Clip on charms his two dogs on Australia Day at about 5pm when he noticed Patch was acting strange.
"The little fella didn't come over so I went to have a look beside the shed," he said.
"I saw two blokes lift him over the fence on a lead so I jumped the fence and chased them."
Phil said the two men ran to the highway so he went to get his car, but by the time he got back they were gone.
"I'm annoyed that these people think they can just step onto your property and steal things," he said.

The family is offering a $500 reward to anyone that has information that leads to finding the eight-month-old miniature border collie.
"We are hoping someone has enough decency to return the dog," he said.

Patch is described as having a black and white coat, with a black patch over the left side of his eye and nose.
Phil said he suspected the dog had been dumped in Yeppoon, or was in the Gladstone area. Patch is microchipped and registered, and Phil said he had informed vets in the Rockhampton region of Patch's microchipping details.
